Lili
Lili is the grandmother character in Little Cat-Lamb Sylvan’s world.


I designed Lili for my own grandmother, who often made little pan-fried dumplings for me. So, in the character representing her, these little dumplings become her “lamb ears.”
In Sylvan’s story, Granny Lili and Sylvan live at the centre of a maze in a huge puzzle world. Sylvan grows up by Lili’s side, but as she gets older, she begins to dream of exploring the world beyond the maze. She travels farther and farther, until one day, she realises that she can no longer find her way back to Lili.
And what about Lili?
She stays at home, preparing Sylvan’s favourite little pan-fried dumplings, knowing that one day, Sylvan will find her way home.










I made this video to introduce one of my mineral painting work!  

This is a story about Sylvan and Granny Lili.

The inspiration came from one of my dreams.
In that dream, I couldn’t find my granny. I kept searching and searching, until I finally realized that she had been beside me the whole time—she had just become transparent, so I couldn’t see her. When I finally found her, I wondered: does my granny also feel that I’m far away, and keep looking for me too?
